Steps To Custom Electrical Equipment
From consultation to delivery, Oushen Electric offers full-process customization and one-stop solutions.
Step 1. Order Acceptance Process
Upon receiving a customer inquiry, accurately analyze requirements covering distribution box types (power distribution boxes, lighting distribution boxes, etc.), specifications (dimensions, rated voltage, current, etc.), and functional requirements (smart monitoring, remote control, etc.). Based on these details, combined with cost and profit projections, provide quotations using internationally recognized trade terms such as FOB (Free On Board) and CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight). The quotation should clearly list product details, price breakdown (material costs, processing costs, transportation costs, profit margin, etc.), delivery schedule, and payment terms. Anticipate potential client inquiries by providing explanations upfront to facilitate multiple rounds of negotiation.
Step 2. Contract Signing
After reaching agreement on the quotation, draft the purchase contract. Contract terms include key elements such as product name, model specifications, quantity, price, packaging requirements, delivery location and time, payment terms (commonly T/T wire transfer or L/C payment methods), quality assurance, and liability for breach of contract. The contract language is rigorous and standardized, compliant with international trade regulations. It becomes effective upon signing and sealing by both parties after mutual review and confirmation.
Step 3. Solution Confirmation
Upon receiving client requirements or original drawings, proceed with detailed design and confirm the proposal. Prior to proposal confirmation, make modifications according to client requests.
Step 4. Payment Processing
For T/T payments, clearly define the ratio and operational procedures for pre-T/T (payment before shipment, beneficial for the exporter’s cash flow recovery) and post-T/T (payment after shipment upon presentation of documents such as the bill of lading, granting the importer a degree of trust). When using letter of credit payments, meticulously review the credit terms to ensure alignment with the contract, avoid soft clause risks, prepare documents according to credit requirements, and guarantee smooth collection.
Step 1. Raw Material Procurement
Procure raw materials according to the type and specifications of the distribution boxes required by the order. For instance, when manufacturing cabinet bodies, use high-quality cold-rolled steel plates or stainless steel plates, ensuring sheet thickness and strength meet standards. Procure various electrical components such as circuit breakers, contactors, and relays from qualified, reliable suppliers, requiring product certification documents. Conduct rigorous sampling inspections on each batch of raw materials, with inspection items including sheet material composition and electrical component performance parameters, to prevent non-compliant materials from entering the production process.
Step 2. Manufacturing
Cabinet Body Processing
Following the design drawings, sheet metal is precisely cut using CNC cutting equipment. The material is then bent into the required cabinet shapes via CNC press brakes. Operations such as punching and welding are performed to fabricate cabinet frames, side panels, door panels, and other components. This ensures precise cabinet dimensions, robust structural integrity, and excellent protective performance.
Component Assembly
After cabinet fabrication is complete, install all electrical components systematically according to the wiring diagram, ensuring precise placement and secure connections. Use copper bus bars, wires, and cables for electrical connections, maintaining neat and aesthetically pleasing wiring that complies with electrical safety standards. Properly label all circuits to facilitate future maintenance.
Quality Inspection
Multiple quality inspection checkpoints are established throughout the production process. Initial inspections are conducted upon raw material arrival. After cabinet fabrication, dimensions, appearance, and weld quality are verified. Following component assembly, electrical performance testing is performed, including insulation resistance testing, withstand voltage testing, and power-on functional testing. These tests simulate real-world usage scenarios to ensure all performance metrics of the distribution box meet or exceed national standards and customer requirements.
Step 1. Custom Packaging
Select appropriate packaging materials based on the distribution box’s dimensions, weight, and transportation requirements. For small distribution boxes, use cardboard boxes filled with foam or other cushioning materials. For large distribution boxes, employ wooden crates with reinforced protection. Clearly label the packaging with product name, model, quantity, weight, fragile indicators, and lifting points to ensure the product remains undamaged during transit.
Step 2. Customs Clearance
Engage a professional customs broker or freight forwarder to handle customs clearance procedures. Prepare all required documentation, including the commercial invoice, packing list, customs declaration authorization letter, copy of the export contract, and export commodity inspection certificate (if statutory inspection is required for the product). Customs declarants must be well-versed in clearance procedures and relevant regulations, accurately declare goods information, cooperate with customs inspections, and ensure smooth clearance.
Step 3. Transportation and Delivery
Select the mode of transportation based on customer requirements and the actual nature of the goods. For small shipments requiring urgent delivery, choose air freight; for larger volumes with less stringent time constraints, utilize sea freight. Partner with reliable logistics companies, sign transportation contracts, and clearly define transportation responsibilities and insurance terms. During transit, utilize logistics tracking systems to monitor shipment status in real time, promptly providing customers with updates on cargo location and estimated arrival times.
Step 4. After-Sales Service
After product delivery, we provide after-sales service support to customers. We establish customer feedback channels to promptly address inquiries and complaints regarding product usage, maintenance, and related matters. We offer a specified warranty period for the product. During this warranty period, any quality issues will be resolved through free repair or replacement. Additionally, we provide product training services to help customers better operate and maintain the distribution box, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and laying the foundation for long-term cooperation.
